Charming cabin vibes

We had a sweet stay in the Berry Patch Cabin. The place is super cute with comfy beds and a gas fireplace, but it was a bummer the deck wasn't shoveled after the snow. Couldn't get solid wifi, tho. The restaurant was nice for dinner and the staff was friendly. Just wish the check-out chores weren't a thing.

fantastic access to trails and nature spots for weekend getaways

during my solo stay, I enjoyed the breathtaking views at Roughlock Falls Trail just a short walk away, which made my hiking experience unforgettable, while the cozy communal space with a fireplace really added to the inviting ambiance of the lodge, perfect for unwinding after a long day outdoors.

Fantastic Family Getaway with Scenic Trails!

We spent two wonderful nights here. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our family's stay memorable. The lobby was so inviting, I half expected a friendly bear to offer me a slice of pie while I settled in. The views from our spacious suite were nothing short of breathtaking, rivaling a postcard from the Black Hills. The hot tubs were a perfect way to unwind, with a view that would make any sunset jealous.

I had a great half day UTV rental where the staff helped me navigate trails using GPS. They suggested stops that made the trip enjoyable. It reminded me of the adventurous road trips I take around Italy with my partner. The service made everything easy for us to explore the area.

The Wi-Fi connection was not good. I also found the walls to be thin. I could hear conversations from adjacent rooms.

canyon lodge is a hidden gem! the staff are super polite and the views are breathtaking. we loved relaxing in the two outdoor hot tubs, enjoying the spectacular canyon scenery. location is perfect for our vacations, and the latchstring restaurant's cuisine is unbeatable. i regretted not staying here longer during our trip!
